Job summary

Amplitude is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own critical product surfaces from ideation to production. You will work across the stack (React frontend, Node.js and Python backend) to build high‑performing experiences that enable safe experimentation and insights for leading product teams.

You’ll shape product and technical direction, partner with design and product leaders, and leverage AI tooling to accelerate prototyping and iteration cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack expertise with React + Node.js/Python.
• Ownership and initiative in shaping product/technical direction.
• Excellent UX sensibility and attention to detail.
• AI-native mindset: using AI tools to amplify impact.
• Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong judgment in technical trade-offs and system design.

Responsibilities

• Own critical product surfaces end-to-end from ideation to production and beyond.
