Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Life Web Solutions team in Newport Beach, CA. You will design, develop and deliver end-to-end web applications and marketing technology solutions for our external sites.

You’ll work with a dedicated team of five engineers and relocation assistance is available. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software development, strong React and Node.js skills, and experience with AWS, microservices, and databases (SQLServer, PostgreSQL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Proficiency with React and Node.js for web applications.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and databases (SQLServer, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop & Deliver end-to-end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
• Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
