We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Life Web Solutions team. This role will be 4 days onsite in our Newport Beach, CA office. Relocation Assistance may be provided.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting-edge self-service capabilities for customers on our external facing websites in addition to enabling marketing technology solutions. You will fill an existing role on a dedicated team of 5 talented people in the Pacific Life Technology division. Your colleagues will include Senior System Analysts & Engineer fellow professionals that believe in open communication, collaboration, teamwork, continuous learning, innovation and at the same time having fun by virtue or recognitions and celebrations.
Design, Develop & Deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ Years of software development experiences with minimum 2 years of experience as Full Stack Engineer.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).
Experience with other programming languages like Python and/or Java is a plus.
Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Experience with Work Management platforms Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer)
Experience with an Integration Platform like Mulesoft is a plus.
Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
