Pacific Life is actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Journey team in Newport Beach, CA. Relocation Assistance may be provided.

You will design, develop and deliver end-to-end solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and drive digital Customer Journey initiatives. The role requires 5+ years of software development with at least 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer, and hands-on experience with Java or Node.js, Angular/React/TypeScript,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with minimum 2 years as Full Stack Engineer.
• Experience building web applications using Angular, React or TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Java, Node.js).
• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
• Experience with Work Management platforms Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Knowledge on Gen AI RAG, MCP patterns is a plus.
• Experience with an Integration Platform like MuleSoft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop & Deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
• Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
