Job summary

Salute is seeking a Full Stack Data Science Engineer to design and operate sovereign data lake architectures and end-to-end data systems. You will build predictive models, deploy analytics products, and develop patentable methods, driving operational intelligence for thousands of infrastructure sites.

You will own the data foundation, collaborate with AI/ML engineers, and deliver production-grade data products while shaping governance, lineage, and access controls across federated data

Qualifications

• 8+ years combining data science and data engineering in production environments.
• Deep Python data ecosystem expertise: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience designing large-scale data lakes/warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Strong SQL and transformation tooling; experience with streaming pipelines like Kafka.
• Full-stack data product delivery from raw data through API and UI.
• IP emphasis: invention disclosures and patent involvement. Strong technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate sovereign data lake and warehouse architectures with governance.
• Build end-to-end data science systems: feature engineering, training, inference, deployment.
• Develop models and optimization methods for operational metrics and SLAs.
• Identify patentable innovations and support patent prosecution with counsel.
• Create production-grade analytical products and client-facing dashboards.
• Translate sensor and OT data into model-ready, governed data products.
