Job summary

Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes company, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in New Jersey. You will own Lakehouse components, build robust data pipelines, and collaborate across Data Ops and product teams to deliver analytics capabilities.

You will mentor junior engineers, implement best practices, and contribute to scalable data infrastructure powering internal analytics and user-facing features. The role requires strong Python, Spark, and cloud experience in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in analytics transformation and Lakehouse practices.
• Hands-on with Spark, Trino, and dbt in production.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of Lakehouse components from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with Data Ops and Product teams to design data flows and dashboards.
• Mentor Analytics Engineers and share knowledge within the Lakehouse framework.
• Translate monitoring and analytics requirements into high-quality deliverables.
• Engage with stakeholders to drive data ingestion, curation, and exposure.
