Job summary

Salute is a leading provider of data center infrastructure services and seeks an AI/ML & Algorithm Engineer to design, build, and protect the core intelligence layer of our enterprise platform. You will own multi‑agent AI systems, novel scoring/optimization algorithms, and LLM applications for enterprise contexts.

This high-impact role drives AI governance, closed‑loop workflows, and scalable solutions across decentralized data sources, enabling measurable operational outcomes in data centers

Qualifications

• 8+ years in AI/ML engineering or research.
• Deep expertise in large language models and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent).
• Proven ability to develop novel algorithmic approaches and document them for IP purposes.
• Strong ML fundamentals: optimization theory, probabilistic modeling, statistical learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch or JAX); familiarity with ML infrastructure (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Ray).
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge graph architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production multi-agent AI systems: coordination, tool use, memory management, structured output, human-in-the-loop ratification.
• Develop novel algorithms for scoring, ranking, and optimization across multiple dimensions.
• Build LLM-powered workflows: retrieval-augmented generation, prompt pipelines, fine-tuning, structured extraction.
• Architect closed-loop AI systems with human feedback loops and continuous improvement.
• Identify patentable AI system designs and collaborate with patent counsel.
• Lead evaluation of AI model performance in production: accuracy, latency, cost, reliability.
• Drive build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions for AI components and integration patterns.
• Establish AI governance: model cards, explainability tooling, bias evaluation, deployment standards.
• Design AI systems that operate across federated data domains with retrieval and grounding strategies.
