Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to serve as the hands-on technical anchor for our engineering team, owning architecture and critical-path development while mentoring engineers.

You will design, build, and review code across Java, Spring Boot, React, and Python-based services, partnering with product and business stakeholders to translate goals into a technical roadmap with strong focus on quality, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale software development using Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs.
• 5+ years designing and developing scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• 5+ years Agile development experience.
• 3+ years Python production-grade apps and API development with AI/ML framework integration.
• 3+ years with distributed messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ/AWS SQS/SNS).
• 2+ years in a technical lead role.
• 2+ years event-driven architectures and asynchronous integration.
• 2+ years Python-based data pipelines or AI-agent workflows.
• 2+ years deploying/operating services on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo).
• 2+ years GitHub/GitLab for source management.
• 2+ years Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor.
