Job summary

CR&R Incorporated is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to own day-to-day accounting for privately held family interests, businesses, properties, and related entities. This role requires accuracy, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple accounts independently.

You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, GL, and month-end close using QuickBooks and Excel, with a focus on confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong AP/AR, GL, and financial reporting experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel with high accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple businesses, properties, and related entities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and research discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger activity and assist with month- and year-end close.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized records for businesses, properties, and expenses.
• Work extensively in QuickBooks and Excel with strict confidentiality.

This role is ideal for someone who knows bookkeeping from the ground up, understands the importance of accuracy and confidentiality, and can independently keep multiple accounts and entities organized.What You'll DoManage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple businesses, properties, and related financial entities.Process accounts payable and receivable, checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts and research discrepancies.Maintain general ledger activity and assist with month-end and year-end close.Prepare financial reports, account schedules, and supporting documentation.Maintain organized records for businesses, properties, expenses, and other financial activity.Prepare accounting records and documentation for CPAs and tax professionals.Work extensively in QuickBooks and Excel while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.What We're Looking For7+ years of bookkeeping, full-charge bookkeeping, or accounting experience; 10+ years preferred.Strong hands-on experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting.Strong QuickBooks experience; QuickBooks Desktop or experience with older versions is a plus.Experience managing accounting for multiple companies, properties, or financial entities is highly desirable.Strong Excel, organizational, and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and protect confidential information.Practical bookkeeping experience is highly valued; an accounting degree is preferred but not required.Pay & ScheduleHourly Range: $30.00–$35.00 per hourFull-time, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
