Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Elmwood, LA, seeks a seasoned delivery station operations leader to oversee safety, quality, performance, and customer experience across 24/7 DS activities. You will drive lean initiatives and manage DSP relationships to meet business plans.

You will hire and develop top talent, set clear expectations for managers, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain performance and engagement. Knowledge of Lean and data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years direct management experience in logistics/fulfillment.
• Track record of delivering performance and financial results under pressure.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques.
• Full lifecycle staffing: interviewing, hiring, performance mgmt, promotions and terminations.
• Strong analytical capability; data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Lead vision for station team, initiate quality and lean initiatives to meet business plans.
• Identify gaps, solve problems, and drive improvements across departments.
• Set expectations for Operations, Area and Shift Managers; measure and hold accountability.
• Manage relationships with Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and collaborate with partners.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership; support talent planning and development.
• Hire and develop top talent; implement career planning and engagement initiatives.
• Foster a strong culture and ensure best practices are shared across teams.
