Flexport is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager for the Philipsburg, NJ fulfillment center. You will manage 300+ associates and a leadership team, directing both D2C and B2B workflows with a hands-on, safety-focused approach.

Drive budgeting, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration with logistics, procurement, and customer service to deliver a world-class operation. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Leader or similar leadership role in a large-scale fulfillment environment.
• Strong knowledge of fulfillment center operations: order processing, inventory, warehousing, shipping.
• Experience managing large teams of hourly and salaried staff.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to motivate teams.
• Proficiency in data, metrics, and KPIs to drive performance.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and cost management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with WMS and related software; knowledge of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 300+ associates and 10 salaried leaders.
• Oversee daily fulfillment center operations for D2C and B2B.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish D2C vs B2B flow paths, picking methods and shipping requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Ensure safety compliance and minimize workplace incidents.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, CS, and QA.
• Report performance and opportunities to senior management.
