Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Fueling Operations Support Manager to provide technical and customer support for fueling facilities across various industries.

You will own complex issues, interact with ASC, Environmental Engineers, and internal teams, and lead by example within Ryder Fuel Service operations. The role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, audits, and compliance while driving KPIs and project support.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Five (5) years or more fuel system and/or facility maintenance management and/or environmental compliance industry experience required.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in direct responsibility for customer relationship-building experience required.
• In-depth understanding of how to use language/communications to create and maintain positive customer experiences advanced required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, including Excel pivot tables advanced required.
• Fueling systems (UST/AST alarm monitoring, ATG, interstitial, Probes, sensors, spill buckets, sumps, STP, UDC, DEF system, dispensers, piping) Downstream fueling systems and other systems as assigned advanced required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems to develop custom solutions for customers and own repair or replacement actions.
• Ensure work order timelines and priorities are met using the work order system.
• Provide clear communications/updates to customers, databases, and stakeholders.
• Establish processes and tools to proactively prevent Notices of Violation and meet compliance schedules.
• Review and approve repair quotes; support environmental projects and run ad-hoc reports from multiple systems.
• Monitor and report on individual KPIs.
• Assist in developing and implementing policies/SOPs/BMPs for stakeholders.
