Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with telecommunications FTTH experience to lead outside plant engineering and design delivery for utility clients. This role owns engineering delivery from route planning and permitting, and is accountable for schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships on assigned projects.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in telecom, and strong leadership and QA/QC capabilities, with collaboration across GIS/mapping teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; telecom/FTTH exp highly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in telecom.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage budgets and schedules.
• Strong client communication and reporting skills.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and coordinating with GIS/mapping teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead outside plant engineering and design delivery for FTTH projects.
• Own engineering delivery from route planning through permitting.
• Manage schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships on projects.
• Mentor designers, project coordinators and ensure QA/QC.
• Travel to project locations as required.
