Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with telecommunications experience in fiber to the home (FTTH) projects to lead outside plant engineering and design delivery for utility clients. This role owns engineering delivery from route planning and OSP design through permitting, and is accountable for schedule, budget, quality, and the client relationship on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience
• Experience in the telecommunication industry preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, and field personnel through design, modification, analysis, and constructability of utility systems
• Direct design teams on underground and aerial OSP construction prints and fiber assignments
• Drive permitting through DOT, municipal, and railroad authorities and manage right-of-way and street opening permits
• Oversee budget, schedules, and client relationships to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to QA/QC and client-specific standards
