Tyson Foods is seeking a Sr Supervisor Food Safety & Quality Assurance to lead the FSQA function on a specific shift. You will manage the department, oversee food safety programs, labs, and product quality, and drive compliance with USDA, GMP, and SSOP standards.

You’ll report to the FSQA Manager, handle budgets and turnover, and lead a team of FSQA Supervisors and Technicians. Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily FSQA on shift, ensuring food safety and quality.
• Ensure adherence to Tyson FSQA policies and procedures.
• Maintain records for government regulations and food safety programs.
• Develop and maintain HACCP/HARPC and SSOP programs.
• Verify finished products meet customer specs and labeling requirements.
• Report issues and audit results to plant/corporate FSQA and management.
• Engage with customers for tours and audits.
• Oversee investigation and response to quality complaints.
• Monitor analytical results.
• Provide food safety training to employees.
• Lead and develop FSQA Supervisors and Technicians on the shift.
