Tyson Foods is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician Lead to support FSQA Leadership by supervising shift inspectors and ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Specification Adherence.

Your responsibilities include coordinating FSQA Technician activities, addressing issues with supervision, and ensuring safety for personnel and products while maintaining thorough records and adhering to USDA regulations. This role may require weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of Food Safety Quality Assurance experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of FSQA Technicians and address issues with supervision.
• Ensure safety in all aspects, including personal safety and food safety.
• Train and develop FSQA Technicians.
• Review daily FSQA records.
• Investigate nonconformance issues and isolate non-conforming products.
• Report to FSQA Leadership.
• Inspect products for compliance with order specifications, quality control systems, and regulatory requirements.
