Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to uphold food safety and quality standards across a designated shift. You will lead FSQA technicians, verify records, and support audits to meet GFSI and customer requirements.

You will handle investigation of complaints and environmental issues, verify production paperwork, and coach team members in food safety practices. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in a food manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP/HARPC certifications preferred; knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA technicians on the assigned shift.
• Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer-specific audits.
• Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues.
• Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks.
• Execute audits to ensure cleanliness and adherence to GMP standards.
• Oversee annual HACCP reassessment.
• Facilitate team member food safety training.
• Flexibility in work hours with coverage on other shifts as needed.
• Occasional weekend work may be assigned by the Manager.
• Communicate with onsite regulators (USDA).
