Job summary
Grafana, a fully remote observability company, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads. You will shape performance, delivery and customer outcomes, developing senior engineers and partnering with Product and Design to drive impactful improvements.

Qualifications
- Experience leading senior engineers and building high-performing teams.
- Strong frontend architectural judgment and leadership in large-scale web apps.
- Track record turning ambiguous problems into clear priorities and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the performance of distributed frontend squads; coach and develop team members.
- Lead hiring and planning across squads to align with product priorities.
- Lead discovery with customers and community members to shape roadmaps.
- Partner with Product, Design and other leaders to set priorities and trade-offs.
- Own delivery from discovery to rollout with milestones and risk management.
- Use AI to synthesize research, inform roadmap and streamline coordination.
- Drive adoption of AI and automation across engineering workflows.
- Set engineering direction for frontend foundations and navigation/organization.
