Job summary

Grafana is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Frontend domain. You will lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, directing performance, delivery, and customer outcomes while partnering with Product and Design.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive AI-enabled development, and guide discovery through customer feedback, research, and usage data to shape roadmaps and priorities. This is a 100% remote role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing senior engineers and developing technical leaders.
• Strong foundation in modern web/frontend systems to evaluate trade-offs.
• Proven ability to turn cross-team problems into clear priorities and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for performance of two distributed squads; set expectations and coach engineers.
• Own hiring and team planning across both squads.
• Lead discovery with customers and users to shape roadmaps and priorities.
