Job summary

Grafana is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, owning performance, delivery and customer outcomes. You will develop senior engineers, partner with Product and Design, and advance AI-driven practices.

You will set priorities, hire, and align capacity with product roadmaps while guiding architecture, developer experience, and multitenant frontend systems. This role is remote-first and locally focused in the United States.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing senior engineers, building healthy teams and developing technical leaders.
• Appreciation for open-source development and balance Cloud-first delivery with customer needs.
• Strong product and customer judgement linking engineering investments to outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, own delivery from discovery to rollout.
• Own hiring and team planning across both squads with product priorities.
• Set priorities, resolve dependencies and manage risks with senior engineers.
• Drive AI adoption and automation across engineering and operations.
• Coach teams, give timely feedback and build a culture of trust.
