Job summary

Compass is building the end-to-end platform for residential real estate agents. As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will join a world-class engineering team and lead frontend initiatives across dashboards, notifications, and reporting interfaces.

You will own the design and delivery of complex features, mentor peers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive AI-enabled workflows and scalable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects autonomously.
• Frontend with modern frameworks (React) and strong UI/UX execution.
• Knowledge of Python for data pipelines and AI workflows is a plus.
• Kafka experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End design and build of strategic product surfaces (dashboards, notifications, reporting).
• Lead delivery of complex subsystems across the stack.
• Incorporate intelligent automation, AI models, data pipelines, and telemetry to automate workflows.
• Conduct rigorous code and design reviews and write automated tests.
• Own services and documentation throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor peers to raise the bar.
