Job summary

Compass is building an engineering team to power its end-to-end real estate platform. We are seeking Senior Software Engineers I and II with Front End focus to lead technical initiatives across CRM and Broker Productivity domains.

You will design, develop, and deliver high-performance microservices and frontend interfaces, leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS cloud technologies. Strong leadership and collaboration are essential as we scale.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in developing high-performance software applications using TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• 5+ years of React and Node.js experience.
• 3+ years using AWS/cloud technologies.
• Proven track record as a technical leader with cross-team impact.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable microservices and cloud infrastructure with frontend interfaces.
• Lead delivery of complex technical projects and subsystems across the stack.
• Incorporate AI models, data pipelines, and telemetry to automate workflows.
• Perform code/design reviews and write automated tests to ensure quality.
• Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, and specs, owning services throughout their lifecycle.
• Mentor peers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
