Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer for the Home Experience. This remote US-based role focuses on high-traffic feeds across Reddit apps and website, collaborating with product and design to deliver delightful user experiences.

You’ll own end-to-end development, mentor teammates, and contribute to scalable web architecture while driving metrics-driven delivery and observability. A BS in CS and strong UX focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks (LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, Angular) and CSS.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• User-centric approach with strong UX sensibilities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and bias toward action in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration and technical/non-technical audiences.
• Experience with APIs design (GraphQL/REST) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to build new features users love.
• Write and review code and design docs; influence product specs and mocks.
• Own full development cycle from design to launch for major projects.
• Contribute to web architecture planning and cross-team initiatives.
• Promote metrics-driven execution and system observability.
