Job summary

Reddit is seeking an experienced software engineer to help drive the development of high-traffic Feed features for web and mobile. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver impactful experiences across Reddit’s platforms.

You will own end-to-end development, review designs, mentor teammates, and push for scalable, observable systems with strong user experience. This role is remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer developing user-facing applications.
• Experience with product metrics and designing experiments.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages (Python, Go, Swift, Kotlin, Rust, C#).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build new features for Reddit’s feeds and apps.
• Own end-to-end development cycle: design, implement, test, and launch major projects.
• Contribute to backend service architecture and cross-functional roadmapping.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices and observability.
