Job summary

Reddit is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Home Experience team, owning end-to-end development for high-traffic Feed pages across web and mobile. You will work with product, design, and other engineers to deliver impactful features.

The role emphasizes metrics-driven delivery, collaboration in a fully remote environment, and mentoring teammates. Base salary ranges will apply plus equity and benefits; candidates should expect a competitive package in USD.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer developing user-facing applications.
• Experience with product metrics and experiments; familiarity with BigQuery, HEX, Firebase.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across remote teams.
• BS degree in CS or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to build new user-facing features.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and improve developer workflows.
• Own end-to-end development cycle: design, implement, test, experiment, and launch.
• Contribute to backend service architecture for native mobile and web clients as part of a full-stack team.
• Drive metrics-led execution and improve observability and operation.
• Partner with leadership to develop roadmaps aligning with product and engineering goals.
