Job summary

Reddit is seeking a frontend-focused software engineer to join the Feeds Experience team. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to build high-traffic features across web apps, write code and design docs, and guide projects end-to-end for a globally scaled platform.

You will work with React/Typescript and modern frontend tooling, mentor peers, and help improve performance and observability while shipping user-friendly experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience in front end focused languages.
• Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular with experience with CSS.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to build new features users will love.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to developer standards and best practices.
• Own full development cycle: design, development, test, launch and iteration.
• Help plan and implement major web architecture projects with backend teams.
