Sardine is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on frontend, building user-facing experiences in React and TypeScript for our AI products. You will own features end-to-end, set frontend standards, and mentor peers in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

Beyond frontend, you'll touch Go on the backend when needed and leverage AI-assisted workflows to ship at speed while maintaining quality and accessibility for global users.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering, frontend focus.
• Expert-level React and TypeScript with UX focus.
• Experience with AI tooling (Claude) for fast shipping.
• Leadership: mentoring engineers and setting standards.
• Production-grade frontend at scale; Go backend familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and own frontend features in React and TS.
• Set frontend quality bar and mentor teammates.
• Use AI tools (Claude) to accelerate development.
• Dip into Go to extend backend services when needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new experiences.
• Contribute to product and tech roadmaps.
• Document user-facing tech to drive adoption.
• Help shape engineering culture and standards.
