Verkada in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build our cloud-managed access control platform. You will join a cross-functional team of firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver a secure, scalable product.

The role requires a passion for polished UI, strong React expertise, and solid problem-solving skills. On-site work five days a week is required, with opportunities to impact product design and user experience at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Expert using React.
• Eye for design, product details, and polish.
• Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques.
• Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system.
• Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Willing and able to work onsite five days per week.

• Develop and own frontend features with a focus on performance and UX.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver polished, scalable applications.
• Translate product ideas into robust, usable interfaces and ship end-to-end.
