Verkada is a fast-growing security technology company based in the United States. You will help build cloud-managed access control systems, working with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers on a highly impactful product line.

The role emphasizes delivering end-to-end product experiences, taking ideas from concept to completion, and shipping features that delight customers. A CS or engineering degree and 1+ year of software engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
• 1+ years of industry software engineering experience
• Proficient in JavaScript and React with strong CSS skills
• Strong understanding of HTTP and debugging techniques
• Experience with a server-side framework and one database system
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class product experiences rather than just features
• Drive ideas from concept to completion
• Build product experiences across the Command web platform (React)
• Lead entire projects from design to implementation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
