You will join a small, high-impact team on a startup‑within‑a‑startup dynamic. This position is onsite at Verkada HQ in San Mateo, CA, with opportunities to influence product direction and user experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building production-grade web apps.
• Expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React).
• Strong understanding of UI architecture, performance, and browser behavior.
• Product mindset with focus on UX and polished tools.
• Solid debugging skills and experience with APIs and async systems.

Responsibilities

• Build rich, responsive web interfaces (React) driving real-time security workflows.
• Architect scalable frontend systems and evolve our UI platform.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Lead technical decisions and mentor other engineers on best practices.
• Engage in occasional backend work to shape APIs supporting frontend features.
