Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, React to help build a new Endpoint State and Control team from the ground up. This greenfield role lets you define architecture, conventions, and component patterns for the rest of the team.

You’ll focus on React and TypeScript, influence API contracts, and shape frontend architecture, testing strategy, and component design while adopting AI tools in daily work. Location is flexible in the USA with hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience with expert-level React (18+) and TypeScript.
• Track record building complex, data-driven UI from the ground up.
• Experience with React Query (TanStack Query) or equivalent server-state management.
• Strong testing habits with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into production-ready UI and push back when needed.
• Experience leading technical design end-to-end—from API contract to component architecture and tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new frontend surfaces for the Endpoint State and Control team from scratch, influencing architecture and conventions from day one.
• Lead UI technical design end-to-end for features, defining API contracts and component architecture.
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready UI with engineering and UX input.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests (Jest, RTL) as part of shipping components.
• Establish patterns, standards, and shared components for future development.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers as the roadmap evolves.
• Incorporate AI tools into daily development workflows to speed up delivery.
