Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, React to help build a new Endpoint State and Control team from the ground up. You’ll own frontend architecture decisions, define component patterns, and shape API contracts for a brand-new product in a true greenfield environment.

You’ll work primarily in React and TypeScript, with opportunities to influence testing strategy, UI design patterns, and integration with backend services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience with expert-level React (18+) and TypeScript.
• Proven track record building complex, data-driven UI from the ground up.
• Experience defining API contracts and collaborating with backend engineers.
• Strong testing habits with unit and integration tests (Jest, RTL).

Responsibilities

• Design and build new frontend surfaces from scratch with input into architecture and conventions.
• Lead UI technical design end-to-end, define API contracts and component architecture.
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready UI while balancing feasibility.
• Write and maintain tests (Jest, RTL) as part of shipping components.
• Help establish patterns, standards, and shared components for the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Incorporate AI tooling to speed development where appropriate.
• Other duties as needed.
