Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, React to build a new Endpoint State and Control team from the ground up. You will help define architecture, conventions, and component patterns from day one, shaping the product’s early direction.

You’ll work primarily in React and TypeScript, with ownership over frontend patterns, API contracts, and testing strategy. AI tools will be part of the workflow, accelerating development while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years frontend experience building data-heavy UIs.
• Expert-level React (18+) and TypeScript proficiency.
• Experience with server-state management (TanStack Query).
• Strong testing habits with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Ability to translate designs from Figma into production UI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new frontend surfaces for the Endpoint State and Control team.
• Lead end-to-end UI design, API contracts, components, and tests.
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready UI and advocate feasibility.
• Write thorough unit and integration tests (Jest, RTL).
• Establish shared patterns and components for future work.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Incorporate AI tools into the development workflow.
• Other duties as needed.
