Job summary

Deckers Brands’ UGG division is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to shape the digital experience for US and Canada sites. You will lead design, development, and implementation of UI components, ensuring accessible, high-performing web experiences that empower junior developers and stakeholders.

You will work in a Scrum/Agile environment, integrating APIs, mentoring teammates, and delivering reliable software across desktop and mobile platforms. The role is remote with U.S. location flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development in e-commerce or consumer-facing environments.
• Strong experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, Bootstrap).
• Experience with accessibility (ADA/WCAG) and web standards.
• Experience with REST APIs and CMS integrations.
• Experience in SCRUM/Agile environments and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and integrations for UGG’s digital platforms.
• Implement technical requirements within specified timeframes, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Develop reusable code components for company websites, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and functions to expand site capabilities and features.
• Work collaboratively in a Scrum/Agile environment, providing accurate estimations and participating in daily standups and sprint planning.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices for coding, UI, and design, and assisting with complex tasks.
