Job summary

Deckers Brands, a leading owner of UGG, seeks a Sr Software Engineer to shape the digital experience for US & Canada sites. You will design and implement UI components, ensuring accessibility, performance, and a cohesive customer journey across devices.

You’ll mentor juniors, collaborate in a Scrum environment, and partner with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software. A CS or Web Development degree is preferred, with 5+ years in e‑commerce frontend.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in e‑commerce or consumer‑facing frontend development.
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and related technologies.
• Experience with React, Bootstrap and Vue frameworks.
• Strong ADA/WCAG knowledge and accessibility practices.
• Experience with APIs, widgets, and CMS integrations.
• SCRUM/Agile experience; mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and integrations for UGG’s digital platforms.
• Implement technical requirements within specified timeframes, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Develop reusable code components for company websites, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and functions to expand site capabilities and features.
• Work collaboratively in a Scrum/Agile environment, providing accurate estimations and participating in daily standups and sprint planning.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices for coding, UI, and design.

Your Impact

Who You Are

• Experienced front‑end developer with 5+ years in e‑commerce or consumer‑facing environments.
• Skilled in web development for desktop and mobile, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related technologies.
• Proficient with frameworks such as React, Bootstrap, and Vue.
• Strong understanding of web standards, including ADA and WCAG.
• Knowledgeable in website integrations, APIs, and widgets.
• Experienced with content management systems and working in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
• Committed to mentoring others and setting a high standard for performance and collaboration.
• Holds a diploma or equivalent in Computer Science or Web Development; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
