Job summary

ScanSource is seeking an experienced UI Developer III to lead the implementation of modern user interfaces, primarily using React, and to guide the team toward maintainable, accessible, high-quality front-end delivery.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with designers, product owners, and other stakeholders, and shape style guides, patterns, and standards for scalable UI development across internal and customer-facing platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production-ready software development experience building and shipping user interfaces.
• 4+ years of production experience shipping applications with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar; React preferred
• Strong attention to visual detail, usability, and accessibility
• Ability to mentor other developers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
• Experience with version control and collaborative development workflows (Git)

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of front-end interfaces as part of a collaborative team.
• Build and deliver new features using React as the preferred framework.
• Maintain and modernize existing UI features and legacy code.
• Establish style guides, reusable patterns, modular components, and standards for UI development.
• Lead prototyping and technical feasibility discussions for complex interface problems.
• Make architectural and design decisions to improve maintainability, performance, and UX.
• Provide guidance and feedback through code reviews and pairing.
• Implement unit tests and improve front-end test coverage.
