Job summary

ScanSource is seeking a Manager of Frontend Development to lead a high-performing team delivering modern, accessible user interfaces across platforms. You will drive frontend engineering standards, mentor engineers, and align technical execution with product goals.

You will oversee React-based development, modernization efforts, and collaboration with designers, product owners, and engineering leaders to ensure scalable, maintainable UI solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production-ready software development with modern user interfaces.
• 3+ years leading, managing, or providing formal technical leadership to software developers.
• Strong experience with React, Angular, Vue; React preferred.
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern front-end practices.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop developers through feedback and reviews.
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of frontend developers for internal and customer-facing interfaces.
• Own frontend delivery planning, prioritization, execution, and quality with partners.
• Guide modernization of UI features, tools, and legacy front-end code.
• Establish and promote frontend engineering standards, patterns, and testing practices.
• Provide technical leadership on React-based development, architecture, and performance.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management for frontend engineers.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, project managers, and stakeholders.
