Job summary

J T in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking a senior UI Front-End / Front-End Software Engineer (Level 3) to lead front-end architecture and deliver mission-critical interfaces. You will mentor a team while contributing hands-on across the full software lifecycle in an Agile environment.

You will translate design specs into accessible, responsive interfaces, design component-based front-end systems, and collaborate with back-end teams to integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs while upholding quality and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with extensive software engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Minimum 12 years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope (or 16 years without a degree).
Strong front-end architecture, standards, and team leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor front-end teams, set coding standards and perform code reviews.
Translate UX/UI designs into accessible, responsive interfaces (Section 508, WCAG).
Collaborate with back-end teams on RESTful/GraphQL API design and integration.
Contribute to full-stack efforts including microservices, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop system documentation, test plans, and engineering standards.
