Job summary

Riverstone Enterprise Solutions, an Envision company, seeks a Front End Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will lead UI developers, translate UX designs into production interfaces, and collaborate with backend teams in an agile environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure accessibility and coding standards, and drive front-end architecture and performance across the full software lifecycle. A TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly is required.

Qualifications

• 12 years SWE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline is required.
• 7 years' experience in Software Database and Repository Interface Development.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and standard web technologies.
• Full-stack experience including backend development and API design.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure; GovCloud is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance and code review.
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks.
• Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, accessible interfaces; collaborate with backend engineers.
• Contribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including backend services and deployment pipelines.
• Establish and enforce front-end coding standards and component reuse across the team.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and systems engineers to preserve design intent.
