Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a senior UI Front-End / Front-End Software Engineer (Level 3) to lead front-end architecture and deliverables in an agile setting. You will mentor a team while remaining hands-on across the full software lifecycle, translating UX/UI designs into responsive and accessible interfaces, and ensuring quality across components.

The role emphasizes collaboration with back-end teams for API design (REST/GraphQL), and leadership in coding standards,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years experience OR 16 years experience without a degree.
• Minimum 7 years in software/database/repository interface development.
• Full-stack experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and back-end tech.
• Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies with technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor front-end engineering teams with technical direction and reviews.
• Translate UX designs into accessible, WCAG/Section 508 compliant UIs.
• Collaborate with back-end teams to design and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to full-stack efforts including microservices, databases, and CI/CD.
• Design, optimize, and query complex database/repository interfaces.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and stakeholders to derive requirements.
• Author and review system documentation, test plans, and standards.
