Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Software Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph) to design, develop, and enhance enterprise systems in a high-security environment in Annapolis Junction, MD.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot back-ends, and optimize data pipelines while ensuring rigorous quality in classified settings.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 12+ years of software engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity, OR 16 years of experience without a degree.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and RxJS for front-end development.
• Deep expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, JMS, Oracle databases, and Elasticsearch.
• Proven DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, and GitLab CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement full-stack web applications with Angular/RxJS and Java/Spring Boot.
• Lead cross-functional development teams and enforce coding standards.
• Develop robust back-end integrations using Spring components and messaging.
• Design and optimize database interfaces and data indexing pipelines.
• Containerize apps and manage deployments in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership across distributed software projects.
