Job summary

Quevera in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior Front-End Software Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to lead frontend development and guide multiple software teams. You will design, develop, and optimize frontend systems in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include software design, performance analysis, testing, quality control, and documentation, using AngularJS, Node.js, JavaScript build tools, Java/Python, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with AngularJS and Node.js.
• Experience with JavaScript build frameworks, including npm and gulp.
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
• Experience with MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for multiple software development teams.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards.
• Assist with the development and execution of test procedures for software components.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes.
• Ensure quality control of developed and modified software.
• Write and review software system documentation.
• Support software development using AngularJS, Node.js, JavaScript build frameworks including npm and gulp, Java/Python, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
