Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Amazon Freight Partner program to own end-to-end partner recruitment and build a warm, conversion-ready candidate pipeline across multiple domiciles.

You will engage with industry partners, run the interview program, and drive offers and onboarding to support capacity expansion. You will develop territory strategies, manage relationships with organizations and communities, and collaborate with capacity planning, marketing, recruiting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals.
• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory-level acquisition strategies to recruit new AFP partners based on demand, geographic priorities, and growth targets
• Build relationships with industry organizations, professional associations, and community partners to generate a qualified candidate pipeline
• Own the end-to-end candidate relationship from first engagement through offer acceptance, ensuring a high-quality experience at every stage
• Manage and engage a pipeline of qualified candidates, keeping them informed, prepared, and ready to launch when opportunities arise
• Match qualified candidates to open opportunities, drive offer acceptance, and ensure a smooth transition into the onboarding process
• Represent the AFP program at industry events, conferences, and community engagements
• Lead the AFP interview program, including interviewer calibration and training
