Job summary

Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) seeks a Business Development Manager to own end-to-end partner acquisition, engaging candidates, and building a warm pipeline across multiple domiciles to support network growth.

You will develop sourcing strategies, partner with industry groups, and drive offer acceptance while collaborating with capacity planning, marketing, and recruiting teams to ensure timely onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals.
• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory-level acquisition strategies to recruit new AFP partners based on demand, geographic priorities, and growth targets.
• Build relationships with industry organizations, professional associations, and community partners to generate a qualified candidate pipeline.
• Own the end-to-end candidate relationship from first engagement through offer acceptance, ensuring a high-quality experience at every stage.
• Manage and engage a pipeline of qualified candidates, keeping them informed, prepared, and ready to launch when opportunities arise.
• Match qualified candidates to open opportunities, drive offer acceptance, and ensure a smooth transition into the onboarding process.
• Represent the AFP program at industry events, conferences, and community engagements.
• Lead the AFP interview program, including interviewer calibration and training.
