Job summary

Samsung SDS America, a leader in global logistics, seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive forwarding business in the US. You will manage the full sales cycle, acquire new customers, and coordinate with Pricing, Legal, and Operations to deliver competitive, profitable logistics solutions.

Based in Cerritos, CA, you will build strong client relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee AR/AP in collaboration with finance teams. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation within the logistics industry.
• Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C-level, Managers, Staff).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performance Management and Strategy Set-up.
• New Customer Acquisition & Business Development.
• Identify and engage potential clients through cold calls, sales tools, and market research.
• Prepare and present tailored logistics proposals, including fulfillment services and local transportation (W&D).
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Collaborate with the Pricing team to source competitive freight rates and structure profitable proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to secure mutually beneficial deals.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Track pipeline using CRM or sales tools.
