Job summary

OEC Group in Houston seeks a Senior Sales Account Executive to lead full sales lifecycle for freight forwarding services, including ocean and air freight, warehousing, and trucking. You will build a local book of business, meet revenue quotas, and collaborate with CRM and overseas teams.

Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding sales, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and willingness to travel. Competitive salary plus uncapped commissions and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of direct ocean/air freight sales within a freight forwarder.
• Proficiency with CargoWise One ERP preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong local market knowledge and hunter mentality.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build new client book through cold calls, events, and meetings.
• Present service offers: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Meet monthly revenue quotas set by Sales management.
• Collaborate with CRM Specialists to establish local market presence.
• Coordinate with internal teams and overseas offices on client needs.
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
