Job summary

OEC Group in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive to drive the full sales cycle from discovery to close. You will act as a trusted advisor for prospective clients seeking Ocean and Air freight forwarding solutions and collaborate with internal teams and overseas offices to ensure seamless service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years’ direct freight sales experience, familiarity with CargoWise One is a plus, and a hunter mentality with strong communication and MS Office

Qualifications

• 3+ years selling Ocean/Air services in a freight forwarder.
• CargoWise One ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Solid understanding of local territory and market opportunities.
• High emotional intelligence, integrity, and hunter mentality.
• Willingness to travel locally to meet clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.).
• Present OEC Group's service offers: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Meet monthly revenue quotas set by Sales management (based off monthly salary).
• Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in the local market.
• Maintain communication with internal teams as well as overseas offices.
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
