The ideal candidate has 10+ years in transportation/logistics leadership, strong TMS expertise, and a track record of margin improvement in fast-paced freight environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of transportation/logistics leadership experience, including TMS, fleet management, and compliance.
• Proven ability to scale operations, reduce costs and increase margins in freight environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all freight brokerage operations, ensuring seamless execution of shipments and superior service delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics coordinators, carrier reps, and dispatchers.
• Build and maintain carrier and customer relationships, negotiating competitive rates.
• Optimize load planning and carrier procurement using TMS platforms and data-driven strategies.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and internal safety standards.
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service to align goals.
