You will drive account growth by securing new shipper accounts, expanding existing relationships, and scaling loads while negotiating rates and carrier contracts with autonomy. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to deliver measurable results in the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct freight brokerage experience with proven success in sourcing, qualifying, and closing new shipper and carrier partnerships.
• Established, active professional network of shippers and carriers you can activate from day one.
• Track record of acquiring 2-6 new shipper accounts monthly with autonomous decision-making.
• Expertise in freight rate negotiation, load pricing, and carrier contracts with autonomy to close deals quickly.
• Knowledge of freight market dynamics, carrier capacity trends, lane economics, and regional demand patterns.
• Proficiency with TMS, load boards, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute your go-to-market strategy from day one—activate your network to build a robust pipeline of shipper and carrier partnerships.
• Drive account growth by securing 2 to 6 new shipper accounts in your first month and expand existing relationships.
• Scale accounts to 100–150 monthly loads within 60 days with autonomous load optimization decisions.
• Develop and execute freight brokerage strategies using market insights to deliver rapid results from week one.
• Craft rate proposals and negotiate terms to protect margins and build long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and compliance to ensure flawless load execution and on-time delivery.
• Lead freight rate negotiations and carrier contracts with immediate decision-making authority.
• Analyze KPIs like load volume, margins, CAC, and revenue to inform rapid strategic decisions in 90 days.
