Job summary

Circle Logistics is seeking an experienced freight brokerage professional to own customer shipments from pickup through delivery, quote competitive pricing, and build strong carrier relationships in a fast-paced environment.

You will source capacity, negotiate carrier rates, monitor shipments, proactively communicate updates and delays to customers, and manage multiple accounts with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of freight brokerage, carrier sales, or account management experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to independently move freight and manage multiple customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer freight from tender through final delivery with emphasis on exceptional service.
• Quote competitive freight rates based on current market conditions and capacity.
• Source and secure qualified carrier partners through relationship building.
• Negotiate carrier rates while balancing profitability and service expectations.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and proactively communicate updates, delays, and solutions.
• Enter and manage load information in the transportation management system (TMS).
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation and ensure all paperwork is complete.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and carrier partners for repeat business.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to develop transportation solutions and resolve service issues.
• Identify opportunities to increase margins while maintaining excellent service.
